Space Holding for Transformative Times.
An Eight-Module Training Program designed and facilitated with love by New Room.
An eight-module journey into the art, politics, and poetics of facilitation
Where We Belong is a learning journey for those who want to facilitate with heart, depth, and integrity. This live, online program teaches not only the "how" but the "why" and the "what if" of transformative facilitation—rooted in the belief that space-holding can be an act of resistance, restoration, and reimagining.

A transformational journey for space holders.
Where We Belong is our answer to facilitator training. It’s an eight-module journey guided over 3 months for those called to hold space with more depth, care, and courage. Rooted in justice, imagination, and embodiment, this program weaves poetic practice with practical tools.
What’s included in the program
8-module online cohort: Self-paced content + weekly live sessions. Held over 3 months: 1 month on, 1 month off, 1 month on. This allows for integration.
Our Go-To Facilitation Tools & Templates: Templates, prompts, somatic practices, playlists, and design guides.
Across eight modules, we explore how to become the room—attuned, grounded, and whole; how to design spaces where belonging is felt, not just promised; how to hold the complexity of power, grief, creativity, and repair; and how to lead with presence in uncertain times. It's for facilitators, educators, artists, and changemakers who are not just running rooms, but reimagining them.
Community of Practice: Ongoing access to a peer network, facilitation labs, and direct guidance from Dani-Jo & Erin from New Room.
Active experience design, facilitation & practice hours: Get into the meat of the material through active facilitation. Design something you’ve been itching to bring to life.

In-House DEI Practitioners & HR Leads
People shaping internal culture within organizations, who want to move beyond checkbox training into transformative, embodied facilitation that shifts relationships and not just policies.
Artists, Therapists & Embodied Practitioners
Those using creative or somatic modalities who are eager to expand their group work skills while rooting their practices in justice, intersectionality, and collective care.
Designed with love by Dani-Jo & Erin of New Room.
We’ve been honing our facilitation craft for years. We show up to this work grounded in practices of deep spirituality, rich artistic and embodiment modalities, years and years of self-reflection and guided therapy. We believe facilitation is a fundamental tool for a more just future - shaping not just the way we show up to our immediate relationships but also our commitment to community and systems-work at large.
